My research interests include technical communication, health and medical rhetoric and digital humanities. Broadly, I explore the ways in which rhetoric shapes healthcare discourse, policy, and practices. My dissertation examines user experience with health technologies with the aim of understanding and addressing inequities and disparities in digital health access, utilization, and outcomes.
My goal as a researcher is to advance the theoretical understandings of health rhetoric and most importantly to provide practical implications for healthcare professionals, policymakers, and communication practitioners seeking to promote equity and social justice in healthcare.
